Bolles Organic Farm
Meet Judy and Kelly Bolles
Welcome to Bolles Organic Farm
Located along the banks of the Skykomish River in the fertile Tualco Valley, Bolles Organic Farm grows wonderful certified organic raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries. Kelly and Judy Bolles now run the farm that was established by Kelly's father, Dr. Leo Bolles in 1997. Dr. Bolles, a local Snohomish County family physician who practiced natural medicine, passed on a reverence for living in health and balance that continues to inspire Kelly.

Growing Philosophy
“Judy
and I want to provide people with great tasting berries that are
certain to be safe and healthful. We also believe it is very important
that our farm provides a safe habitat for the birds, insects, and
wildlife that inhabit our farm, as well as ensuring that run-off water
that might enter the river is clean.”
Organic Methods
Bolles
Organic Farm has been WSDA certified as an organic grower since 1999.
They nurture a cover crop of grass and clover between their berry rows
which provides a habitat for beneficial and predatory insects. They
take soil tests every three years to ensure the plants are getting what
they need to stay healthy. Fish oil-based pellets, boron, and borax are
used when needed.
Bird Friendly
Bolles Organic Farm is a haven for migratory and local birdlife. Judy and Kelly frequently see raptors roosting on their raspberry posts, and Cedar Waxwings are welcome to nest among the berry canes.
