Blong's Garden

Blong has been farming in the Snoqualmie River Valley for 14 years, beginning as an apprentice on the Herb Farm and River View Farm in 1993. Blong uses no commercial fertilizers, insecticides, or herbicides on his farm.

Indo Chinese Garden

Say and Chu Chang have been using ultra low impact farming techniques on their 10 acre farm in the Snoqualmie River Valley in Renton since 1983.  Through green fertilization, crop rotation and dry farming they produce beets, onions, carrots, basil and much more plus beautiful flowers.

Reiner Farms 2006 Vim Wright Stewardship Award Second Runner-Up

Cattleman Dale Reiner manages Reiner Farms, a 300 acre beef farm that has been his family since the 19th century (5 generations at this time).  Several years ago, Dale participated in an ambitious project to restore Haskell Slough, important rearing habitat for young salmon.  He also grows Christmas trees and hay at the Snohomish county farm.

Sidhu's Farm

Chet and Ajmer Sidhu's 34-acre farm is in the process of becoming certified organic. Six acres are already certified organic. Sidhu's farm grows mostly berries, like raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries.
