Local Food Economy workshop

Document Actions
Developing strong local economic linkages is crucial to our region's food producers, manufacturers, distributors and purveyors; to preserving farmland; and to providing access to healthy affordable food in all our communities. With your participation, Sustainable Seattle is helping to make the economic case for investing in the development of the local linkages through a study of money circulation in the food economy. This hands-on workshop will share preliminary results from the Local Food Economy Study and is designed to give everyone interested an opportunity to say what the data means and propose policy initiatives based on the findings.
