Environment is improving profitability for Washington's environmental stewardship farms
through its Access-to-Market programs.
Launching our Access to Market programs
The year 2006 marked the launch of Farming & the Environment's
Access-to-Market programs, generating $221,000 in high-volume grocery
sales and high-profit farmers market sales for Washington State
stewardship farmers.
Des Moines Waterfront Farmers Market
The first ever Washington State farmers market giving priority to
environmental stewardship farmers and actively working to educate
shoppers on the value of land stewardship.
Bringing Stewardship Farm Products to Market
Farming & the Environment is part of a movement that's working
to create a new food delivery system. Learn more about our model
for connecting Washington stewardship farmers with profitable sales to
local grocers, restaurants, community supported agriculture programs
(CSAs), and farmers markets.
Farming & the Environment is embarking on a bold vision. Our founder, Peter Goldmark, brings that bold vision to light, painting a picture of the impact F&E's developing new access-to-market programs aim to make.
